Very good to consider the different ways in which people learn. I learn mainly from talking and words, but this means it takes me a little longer than some people to put that understanding into practice in Wing Chun.

On the other hand, there are guys I train with who haven't been practicing Wing Chun as long as I have who are beginning to pick up the techniques very quickly. These guys are good Kineasthetic learners, but aren't so good at explaining things to beginners.

A good teacher needs a balance of both - Physical skill and the talent to communicate what he or she is teaching.

I like the X marks the spot, I'll try that one.

Hello mister Chu,

I'm a beginner in another lineage than yours (Sifu Klaus Flickinger, AIWTKF), but thanks for that idea! that's quite funny and simple !

It looks simple, and if it's simple, it's wing chun, and as a consequence it's good !
I'll tell it to my partners and my Sihing at the next class he he he !!!

Keep on sharing your treasures with us,

sincerely,
Jean, from France (Europe)
