Good article, My powerlifting program is verry similair and iam a wingchun practitioner for about a year. On youtube there are some wingchuners who claim it will undermine your wingchun speed and skills. but how do they explain that Bruce Lee also used a 3day weight training routine and felt that physical training, in addition to martial training, was of the utmost importance to any combat athlete. however Bruce Lee used mainly compound strenght excercises in witch the muscles are working together rather than bulking isolating excercise, after some bodybuilding he realised the bulk was to much for his speed so he stickt to compound strenght training.
