So, the CSL Body Structure. Is it what I assumed it was, from my own Wing Chun experience? No, not at all. The methods of using the body are completely different to most systems I’ve seen or the systems I’ve trained in. It’s easy to second guess what this or that is but until you have it explained to you, in depth, you don’t really get how it can be so different or appreciate it for what it is.

Briefly, the entire set of DVDs have deep explanations and practical examples throughout. The various training methods covered are all made accessible through drills, that you can take from the DVDs and practise. These drills can be practised from a passive (intro) level right up to how they respond in fighting. So there’s a wealth of stuff to train. Some areas expanded on what I’d already trained, to a point, where they made more sense and I could see how I’d actually apply them in a real fight against someone who can ACTUALLY fight.
